Berry Basket Card

Hi everyone! I’m so sad that this die is going to be retired on May 31st! This was one of the cards my gals made at our last workshop.

With spring here and flowers blooming, I felt like this was the perfect time to make this card – and of course give it to someone so they can plant the packet of flowers that comes with it!┬áTo make this card, I just cut the basket out with my big shot and cut it directly in half. I scored the bottom so that it would create a pocket. Then I cut the scalloped edge out of the blackberry bliss cardstock and scored the edges so it would align with base and be 3D when adhered to the card front. I decorated the front of the berry basket with a stamp from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set (one of my favs!), then adhered a few flowers punched out of watermelon wonder and blackberry bliss with the petite petals and the flower from the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack (another retiring one that I am going to miss!). I wrapped the seed packet with a tea lace doily and some linen thread. The sentiment is stamped on a cute little picket from the Handpicked framelits to finish it off. I think it turned out so cute and doubles as a little gift for the receiver!

Thanks for visiting today!

Berry Basket Hostess Gift

Hello everyone! Yesterday I held my semi-monthly workshop and wanted to share with you the gift I made for my hostess using Stampin’ Up’s Berry Basket die. This die is one that is on the retiring list, so if you love it, you should purchase it ASAP since the items on the retiring list are as supplies last!
